Motel Loïc

Motel Loïc

Motel Loïc, born in the south of France and now based between Paris and Madrid, is a sonic alchemist blending synth pop with indie electronic into a rich, cinematic universe. At just 25, he’s crafted a dreamlike soundscape that oscillates between nostalgia and futurism, telling stories of love, mystery, and hedonism through a three-EP series inspired by a surreal stay at an enigmatic motel. Each track is a chapter, each beat a doorway to an emotional dimension.

Loïc’s musical world is deeply influenced by the likes of Prince, Daft Punk, Tame Impala, Serge Gainsbourg, and The Weeknd—but it’s Daft Punk’s ‘Discovery’ that shaped his approach to storytelling through sound. His songs are immersive, layered, and cinematic, built with analog synths, psychedelic textures, and velvet grooves that invite the listener into a parallel universe.

His ability to fuse the retro with the futuristic, the personal with the universal, makes him an emerging figure in the indie scene.
